Car Buffing: what is involved

Our shop work happens in the Toronto area. We have no location in Keyes. What we do here: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.

Booking a time

Send the make, model and year, what you want done, and when suits you. A person replies with a price and a time, and you decide. Send photos and we reply with a price for your car. If the job turns out bigger than expected, we tell you before doing more.

After the work

Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.

What goes into a quote

We price the job before we start, never after. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.

What to bring

If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.

How long it takes

A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.
