Car Buffing: what is involved
Our shop work happens in the Toronto area. We have no location in Lincoln. Put simply: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The request
Nothing is booked until you say yes to the price and the time. Include the colour and any options that affect the work. You approve the price before we start. Photos help: a few pictures of the problem make the quote more accurate.
What goes into a quote
Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. We price the job before we start, never after. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
What to bring
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
Planning around the work
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
Looking after it afterwards
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
