Car Buffing: what is involved
For paint correction in Los Fuertes: CarmaCars does this work only in the Toronto area, about 2,318 km away. In plain terms: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
From request to appointment
Photos help: a few pictures of the problem make the quote more accurate. We confirm the price and the time with you before the car comes in. Every car is different, so we reply with a price for yours. Send the make, model and year, what you want done, and when suits you.
What affects the price
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
Looking after it afterwards
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
Timing
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
Before you drop the car off
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
