Booking the work near Lost Mountain
CarmaCars does this work in the Toronto area, about 2,378 km from Lost Mountain. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Booking a time
A person reads each request and replies within one business day. We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. You get a price for your car before anything is done. Include the colour and any options that affect the work.
Aftercare
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
How the price is set
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
How long it takes
If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
On the day
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
