Booking the work near Merrifield

Car Buffing in Merrifield: CarmaCars works in the Toronto area only, so here is the honest picture. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.

Getting a quote

A person reads each request and replies within one business day. We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. You approve the price before we start. Say when the car is free, and we suggest a time that works.

Before you drop the car off

If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.

Planning around the work

A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.

Why prices differ

The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.

Aftercare

A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
