Car Buffing: what is involved
Searching for buffing in Nelson? Our work is done in the Toronto area, so here is the honest answer. What we do here: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
How to request it
Mention the year and trim so we price the right size of car. We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. The quote comes before any work, so there are no surprises. Say when the car is free, and we suggest a time that works.
Looking after it afterwards
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
Why prices differ
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
Timing
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
Getting the car ready
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
