Car Buffing: what is involved

Our shop work happens in the Toronto area. We have no location in Phoenix. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.

Getting a price

A short description of the problem is enough to start. If you have a deadline, put it in the request. The quote comes before any work, so there are no surprises. Nothing is booked until you say yes to the price and the time.

Keeping it that way

Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.

What to bring

Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Ask any question you have before the work starts.

How the price is set

Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.

When the car is ready

Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. We keep you posted if the timing changes. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
