Car Buffing: what is involved

Our shop work happens in the Toronto area. We have no location in Story. What it covers: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.

Booking the work

If the job turns out bigger than expected, we tell you before doing more. Say when the car is free, and we suggest a time that works. Send a few details or photos and we reply with a price. Mention the year and trim so we price the right size of car.

What affects the price

Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.

A few things first

Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.

How long you are without it

If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.

After the work

Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
