Car Buffing: what is involved
Car Buffing in Trueland: CarmaCars works in the Toronto area only, so here is the honest picture. The short version: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
From request to appointment
We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. A person reads each request and replies within one business day. You get a price for your car before anything is done. Photos help: a few pictures of the problem make the quote more accurate.
When the car is ready
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
How the price is set
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
Looking after it afterwards
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
