Car Buffing: what is involved
CarmaCars has no location in West Congress; we do paint correction in the Toronto area. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your request
Nothing is booked until you say yes to the price and the time. A person replies with a price and a time, and you decide. The price depends on the car and the work, so we quote each car before we start. Say when the car is free, and we suggest a time that works.
Looking after it afterwards
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
Getting the car ready
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
How long it takes
Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
What goes into a quote
