About the work
If you can bring the car to Toronto, we can do paint correction; we have no location in Whiting. Put simply: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Booking the work
We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. Tell us whether the car can be dropped off or needs to be picked up. The quote comes before any work, so there are no surprises. If you have a deadline, put it in the request.
Looking after it afterwards
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car.
Planning around the work
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
What goes into a quote
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
Getting the car ready
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Distance, honestly
