A note on Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, it needs around 24 litres for a 300 km round trip. Every 100 km costs about $13.83 in fuel at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With a length of 4.76 m, it counts as on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rent it from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to have ready

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

From request to keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
