About the 2021 Audi A4 Technik

The figures, translated

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Size and space

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Our A4 cars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

The steps

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Before you rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
