The figures, translated

It runs the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Request, offer, keys

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
