Recalls and complaints
A pre-purchase inspection at a shop you choose is money well spent. In Ontario, a used car needs a Safety Standards Certificate to be registered. Ask for the service records and check open recalls by the VIN. Look at the tires, brakes and battery; they are costly to replace.
Engine and fuel
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Rent it for a week first
If it is in our fleet, rent it; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Load it with your things and park it where you park; then decide. Nothing is charged until we confirm the rental and you approve the offer.

Ask what a set of tires costs for this trim; sizes and prices vary. Get an insurance quote for this exact model before you buy; rates differ a lot between models.
Picking a year and a trim
Each Porsche model page lists its years, so you can see which ones changed. Look at a few listings of the same year and trim to get a feel for fair prices. If you are unsure between two options, rent one of them for a week first.

Fuel use and fuel cost from the US EPA (fueleconomy.gov), dimensions and weight from NHTSA vPIC Canadian specifications, recalls and complaints from NHTSA. We leave out any figure no free source publishes.
