Your X6 and paint work
Searching for auto paint for the 2014 BMW X6? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
As a full-size SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. There are 4 NHTSA recall campaigns on file for it; a dealer can check by the VIN.
The request
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental meanwhile
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Add a rental to the same request as the work. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
How long you are without it
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. We keep you posted if the timing changes.
How the price is set
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
After the work
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
What to bring
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Photos of the damage taken at the scene help with the repair and the claim.
One more step
Send a request with the car and the work, and we reply with a price and a time.
Request auto paint
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
