Auto paint: your Electra
Searching for auto paint for the 1986 Buick Electra? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
About your Electra
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
Booking a time
You can add a rental to the same request. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Keep your week on track
Add a rental to the same request as the work. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
What affects the price
Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
Looking after it afterwards
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Before you drop the car off
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
How long you are without it
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Small repairs can take hours; paint and collision work can take days.
