The 2016 BYD e6: Auto paint
Here is how we handle paint work for the 2016 BYD e6: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Keep the repair invoice with the car's records.
Getting a quote
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
Keep your week on track
Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. A rental means the work does not stop your week. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How the price is set
Paint colours with pearl or metallic finishes can take more work to match. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
A few things first
Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Aftercare
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. New paint needs time to harden fully; ask us when it is safe to wash and wax.
How long it takes
We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. Parts on order can add days to a repair; we tell you when that happens.
Make a request
A person reads every request and replies with the next step.
