Booking the work for the Taurus
For the 2000 Ford Taurus, paint work starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
What your car means for the work
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. NHTSA lists 8 recall campaigns for this model; a repair visit is a good moment to ask whether each was done.
Getting a price
You can add a rental to the same request. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Stay on the road
While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
What to bring
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
What goes into a quote
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.
Timing
Parts on order can add days to a repair; we tell you when that happens. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
Aftercare
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
