The work on your C/K Pickup
Need paint work for your 1985 GMC C/K Pickup? Tell us about the car and when suits you. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
What to send us
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Keep your week on track
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. We collect the rental when your car is ready. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Looking after it afterwards
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car.
On the day
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
What affects the price
The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
When the car is ready
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
