Auto paint for the 1986 GMC C/K Pickup
For your 1986 GMC C/K Pickup, paint work starts with a short request. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
From request to appointment
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Keep driving meanwhile
A rental means the work does not stop your week. A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What goes into a quote
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
Before you drop the car off
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
How long it takes
We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. Small repairs can take hours; paint and collision work can take days.
After the work
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. New paint needs time to harden fully; ask us when it is safe to wash and wax.
