Booking the work for the DS
Searching for auto paint for the 1986 GMC DS? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
How to request it
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Keep your week on track
Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Before you drop the car off
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
How long you are without it
Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
Aftercare
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
Pricing, plainly
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
Next step
A short request is all it takes to get a price for your car.
Request auto paint
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
