Your 1986 GMC WCM: the work
Your 1986 GMC WCM and paint work: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Keep the repair invoice with the car's records.
Getting a quote
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental while we work
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
How the price is set
The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
Keeping it that way
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
Getting the car ready
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
When the car is ready
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
Next step
Send a request with a few photos, and we reply with a price.
Request auto paint
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
