Your 1990 GMC WHM: the work
For the 1990 GMC WHM, paint work starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
Your request
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
A rental while we work
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Aftercare
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Getting the car ready
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Planning around the work
Coatings and paint need time to cure, which is part of the schedule. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
What goes into a quote
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.
Still deciding?
A person reads every request and replies with the next step.
