Auto paint: the 1985 GMC WHS
For your 1985 GMC WHS, paint work starts with a short request. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
What your car means for the work
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
How to request it
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Keep your week on track
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Keeping it that way
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. New paint needs time to harden fully; ask us when it is safe to wash and wax.
What affects the price
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
A few things first
Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Photos of the damage taken at the scene help with the repair and the claim. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
When the car is ready
We keep you posted if the timing changes. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
