The 2002 Lotus Esprit: Auto paint
For paint work on the 2002 Lotus Esprit, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. There are 1 NHTSA recall campaigns on file for it; a dealer can check by the VIN.
From request to appointment
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Stay on the road
Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Timing
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.
Aftercare
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
On the day
Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
What goes into a quote
The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Paint colours with pearl or metallic finishes can take more work to match. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
Next step
A person reads your request and replies with a price and a time.
