Your CX-5 and paint work

Here is how we handle paint work for the 2021 Mazda CX-5 GX: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.

Size and finish

A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.

Booking a time

We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.

Keep driving meanwhile

We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Why prices differ

We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.

Keeping it that way

A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.

What to bring

Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.

When the car is ready

Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. A clear timeline comes with every quote.
