The Scion xD: Auto paint
CarmaCars takes requests for paint work on the Scion xD, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
What your car means for the work
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
Booking the work
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Why prices differ
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
Planning around the work
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
Before you drop the car off
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim.
Looking after it afterwards
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
Still deciding?
