Auto rental and the 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv

A note on Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,933 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland, each with its own page.

Engine and fuel

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

The combined figure, 8.6 L/100 km, means roughly 26 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $15.05, and a 300 km weekend about $45.15.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Room inside

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What we ask of drivers

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Getting the car booked

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
