Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

How big it is

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Driver requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

How renting with us works

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
