The A4 and Java

Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners are the neighbouring places on our list.

Specs, explained

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

In our fleet

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Booking with CarmaCars

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
