What to bring

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
