Auto rental: Mazda

Renting the Mazda

The Mazda for a rental car: the facts first, then the booking. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

What the figures tell you

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Getting one from us

Name the Mazda model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. We have 1 Mazda cars on the site now, each with its own calendar and price. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Driver requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Requesting a car

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
