What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
