Battery boost for the 1982 Ford CF6000
For battery service on the 1982 Ford CF6000, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the CF6000.
Our part and the shop's part
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
Talking to the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Still deciding?
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
