Arranging the work for the LS8000
For battery service on your Ford LS8000, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
Your LS8000 and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. If you have the service history of your LS8000, have it ready for the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
From request to repair
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
A short checklist
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Ready when you are
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
