Arranging the work for the Taurus
Need battery service for the 2011 Ford Taurus? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
About your Taurus
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Taurus. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The 3.5L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.
How the arrangement works
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Before the shop starts
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
