Arranging the work for the ACM

A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. If you have the service history of your ACM, have it ready for the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.

What to ask
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Car care, briefly
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
