Battery boost: how we help

For battery service on the 2016 Honda Civic DX, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.

Your car, your notes

Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Civic. It uses the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive.

The steps

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.

Talking to the shop

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
