Arranging the work for the Cherokee

For battery service on your 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.

Your Cherokee and the shop

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. It runs the 3.2L 6-cylinder, with all-wheel drive.

Our part and the shop's part

The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Small things that help

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

What to ask

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

One more step

One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.

Request battery boost

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
