Arranging the work for the ES
Battery boost for the 2012 Lexus ES: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Before the shop sees your ES
Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 3.5L 6-cylinder. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The 3.5L 6-cylinder, paired with a 6-speed automatic, drives it.
Who does what
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Good habits for your car
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
When you know your dates
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
