The 2001 Lexus SC: Battery boost
Your 2001 Lexus SC needs battery service? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Before the shop sees your SC
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What to send us
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Over to you
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
