Battery boost: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For battery service on the 2007 Lexus SC, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Your SC and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 4.3L 8-cylinder. If you have the service history of your SC, have it ready for the shop. Under the hood: the 4.3L 8-cylinder and rear-wheel drive.
How we help
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Stay on the road
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What to ask
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Good habits for your car
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Over to you
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
