Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Getting a clear quote
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
