Arranging the work for the Mark
For battery service on your 1998 Lincoln Mark, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Your Mark and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How we help
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A car meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What to ask
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Car care, briefly
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
When you know your dates
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
