Arranging the work for the Altima
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For battery service on the Nissan Altima, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Altima.
What we arrange
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Before the shop starts
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Small things that help
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Questions first?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
