Arranging the work for the Kicks

For battery service on your 2021 Nissan Kicks SR, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

Your car, your notes

Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The powertrain here is the 1.6L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT).

The steps

Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Small things that help

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

What to ask

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
