Arranging the work for the NV
For battery service on your Nissan NV, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
About your NV
If you have the service history of your NV, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the NV.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Talking to the shop
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Small things that help
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Send a request
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
