Battery boost: how we help
The 2016 Rolls-Royce Ghost and battery service: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your Ghost, have it ready for the shop. Its powertrain is the 6.6L 12-cylinder turbo with rear-wheel drive.
The steps
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A car meanwhile
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
A short checklist
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Between shop visits
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Send a request
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
