Arranging the work for the 9-4
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for battery service on the Saab 9-4 we arrange a trusted shop. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How the request works
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
A car meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Getting a clear quote
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Small things that help
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Make a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
